Deep Fried Spiced Tofu or Bean curb Recipe

Cooking time: 10 minutes

 

Ingredient A:
375g / 12 oz firm tofu, drain and cut into 1cm / inch thickness slices.
1 cup oil for deep frying

Ingredient B:
cup rice flour
2 teaspoons ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 clove garlic, crushed
cup / 125 ml / 4 fl oz water
 

Method:
Mix all the ingredient A in a bowl and stir until become smooth paste. Heat the oil in a large pan. Dip the tofu slices into the paste and coat thickly. Place the tofu slices into the oil, in batches and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes or until color turn to golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Ready to serve. Best if could serve with chili sauce to add flavors.
