Wakame Seaweed and Yam Salad Recipe

Ingredients A:

  • 20g (3/4 ounce) dried wakame seaweed

  • 140g (5 ounces) yam, peeled and finely sliced

  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar

  • 1 package cress

  • 3 tablespoon of bonito fish flakes

Ingredient B:

  • 3 tablespoons Japanese soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

Method:


Soak the dried seaweed in water for 15minutes to soften. Then, drain well. Soak the yam pieces in a bowl of water with the rice vinegar for 15minutes and drain. Put the seaweed, yam, cress, and bonito fish flakes in a salad bowl. Sprinkle with the Ingredient B. Toss to coat and serve.
