Steamed Bean Curb and Mushroom Recipe

Preparing time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes

 

Ingredient A:

  • 600g bean curd, cut to about 3cm by 3cm

  • 6 Chinese mushroom, rinse and soak

  • 1 teaspoon hot pickled mustard tuber

  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon tapioca starch

Method:

 

Place bean curd on a plate. Chop and mix mushrooms and hot pickled mustard tuber with sugar and potato starch. Place the mushroom mixture on top of bean curd. Steam for 15 minutes or until well done. Remove and pour sesame oil and dark soy sauce on top. Ready to serve.

Health tips: mushrooms will reduce cholesterol and bean curd is known for good for slimming.
