Korean Grilled Fish Recipe

Number of serving: 4

Preparing time: 20 minutes

Marinating time: 15minutes

Cooking time: 7 minutes

 

Ingredient A:

  • 4 clove finely chopped garlic

  • 1 piece fresh ginger (about 4cm), grated

  • 3 tablespoon Korean chili powder, or substitute with 3 tablespoon of cayenne pepper and 3 table spoon of sweet paprika

  • 2 tablespoon sugar

  • 2 tablespoon Japanese soy sauce

  • 1.5 tablespoon rice vinegar

Ingredient B:

  • 4 pieces (about 600g) of white fish fillets, recommend deep sea perch or ling fish

Methods:

  1. Dry up the raw fish fillet with paper towels.

  2. Mix ingredient A together.  Apply on the fishes thoroughly and marinate for 15minutes.

  3. Arrange the fillets on a foil lined grill tray and cook with medium heat. 

  4. Without turn over the fish, check fish is fully cooked after about 6 minutes, if not, further cook until it's done.

Health tips: about 4g or less fat per serving, serve with steam rice, boiled noodles, pasta or even thick bread.
