Fried Cream Soda Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients:
4 pieces Pork chops, rinse and wipe dry
150ml cream soda
2 tablespoon oil

Marinade Ingredients:
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Sugar
1 tablespoon Caltrop starch
1 tablespoon Oil
2 teaspoon Light soy sauce
1 teaspoon Oyster sauce
½ tablespoon Ginger wine
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 pinch ground white pepper

Method:
Hit the pork chops with the back of a knife. Put them into a bowl. Pour cream soda to cover and leave for 1 hour. Drain. Add Marinade Ingredients to pork chop and leave for 30 minutes. Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a wok under medium heat. Put in pork chop and fry for 8 minutes or until both sides are golden. Ready to serve.

 

Cooking tips:

Marinated pork chop with cream soda will have aroma of vanilla. Besides, the carbonated fizzy drink also help tenderizes the meat. This dish could serve as appetizer. It could also be fried later to serve together with rice porridge or steam rice.
