Ingredients:
1kg whole chicken (with bone), clean and remove access oil
2 tablespoon sesame oil
Seasoning Ingredient A:
2 slices fresh ginger
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white wine (or Chinese rice wine)
1 tablespoon Qi Zi ( Lycium/ Chinese Wolf Berry)
Seasoning Ingredient B:
2 tablespoon white wine (or Chinese rice wine)
1 tablespoon light soya sauce
1 teaspoon corn flour
125ml (½ cup) water
Method:
Rub the chicken’s skin with sesame oil. Mix Seasoning ingredient A in a
bowl, and put all of the mixture into the Chicken Cavity. Steam the
seasoned chicken for 25 minutes. Remove and cut into serving pieces.
Heat up a sauce pan over medium heat, put all Seasoning ingredient B to
boil. Remove and pour over chicken. Ready to serve.
