Fried Crispy Chicken Recipe

Preparing time : 20 minutes


Ingredient A:

  • 8 drumsticks (can be mixed or replace with 4 quarters chicken)

  • Oil (preferred olive or grapes seed oil) for deep frying

Ingredient B:

  • 4 chopped cloves garlic

  • 3 chopped coriander roots

  • 2 teaspoons ground turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce


  1. Boil the chicken in hot water for 15minutes, then keep cool.

  2. Place ingredient B in a food processor to turn to a smooth paste. Brush over the chicken, cover and keep in fridge for 30minutes.

  3. Heat the oil in a pan, put in the chicken and fried till dark brown, turn frequently.

  4. Drain oil with paper towel and serve hot

  5. May serve with Thailand style chili sauce or normal chili sauce, depend on individual preferences.
