Steamed Salmon with Shallots and Broccoli Recipe

Number of serving: 4

Cooking time: 35 minutes


Ingredient A:
450g (1 pound) salmon fillet (prefer organic type), cut into 3cm chunks
2 shallots, cut into 2cm size
110g (4 ounces) broccoli, cut into 2cm size
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Ingredient B:

6 tablespoons soy sauce
60ml (2 ounce or 1/4 cup) sake
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 teaspoons juice from grated fresh ginger
1 pinch of ground black pepper
 

Methods:
Mix well all the Ingredients B in a bowl, then add in salmon. Stir until each salmon chunk is covered with the mixture and set aside for 20 minutes. Dry the salmon with paper towels, then sprinkle it with cornstarch. Add in vegetables, steam for 15minutes or until salmon is well done. Ready to serve.
