White Gourd and Rice Bean Soup Recipe

Number of serving: 4

Cooking time: 120 minutes

 

Ingredient A:

  • 400g white gourd, clean and cut into slices with skin

  • 120g rice bean, rinsed with water

  • 600ml water

Ingredient B:

  • 1/2 teaspoon honey (optional)

  • 1/4 teaspoon soya soy sauce (optional)

Method:

  1. Put all the ingredient A into a slow cooker or a stewing mug.

  2. Cook for 2 hours.

  3. Add the honey if want to serve as dessert, or add the soya soy sauce if want to add taste to the soup.

  4. Ready to serve.

Health tips: This soup promotes diuresis, clear heat and satisfying thirst.  Can serve as one of the light meals or drink. Prefer drinking without honey and salt to maximized it's wellness effect.
