Steamed Salmon Fish Cake Recipe

Number of serving: 4

Cooking time: 15 minutes

 

Ingredient A:

400g (0.8 lb) boneless Salmon fish fillets
2 teaspoon Indonesian Sambal Paste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh lemon grass (white part only)
1 piece grated ginger, about 1 cm (1/2 inch)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
3 scallion, chopped

 

Ingredient B:
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon fresh mint, finely chopped

 

Ingredient C:
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
 

Method:
Preheat the oven to 180’C/350’F. Mix Ingredient A in a food processor and process until become fine paste.  Mix fish paste and Ingredient B in a bowl, stir to mix well.  Divide the fish paste into 4 parts, mold each part to an elongated shape. Wrap each elongated part with a piece of baking paper, and bake for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Ready to serve.
