Simmered Pork with Shou Wu and Walnuts Recipe

Cooking time: 5 minutes


Ingredients:

40g shou wu (Polygonum multiflorum)
3 cups (750ml) water
100g lean pork
40g walnuts
1 pinch salt

Method:
Decoct shou wu with 3 cups of water for 20 minutes in a ceramic pot and move the extraction to a new pot. Put lean pork and walnut into the pot. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until the pork is done. Add salt and ready to serve. Consume only the soup and meat.

Shou Wu is a commonly used Chinese medicine ingredient that is specially used to prevent and delay the graying of hair.
