Rice Bean Porridge Recipe

Cooking time: 120 minutes

 

Ingredients A:

  • 60g rice bean, rinse

  • 60g Chinese Pearl Barley (also known as Job’s tears seed)

  • 1500ml water

Ingredients:

  • 100g brown rice

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce

Method

  1. Put ingredient A in a pot, cook till boil.

  2. Add in rice and continue to cook for 5minutes.

  3. Change to low heat, continue to cook for 30 minutes or until porridge is well done.

  4. Add sugar and soy sauce for seasoning.

  5. Could eat porridge only.  Best taste when substitute rice to serve together with other side dishes.

Health tips: Clear heat, sooth inflammation and help blood circulation.  Also help in man's health but this dish are not mean for those with asthenia.
