Ingredients:
450g Chinese flowering cabbage, wash and section
113g dace paste
2 slices ginger
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon vegetable oil
2 pinch salt
Thickening Sauce ingredients:
½ teaspoon corn flour
2 tablespoon water
(mix well in a bowl)
Method:
Put 6 cups of water into a saucepan, bring to the boil. Make
dace to small ball shape by spoon, then put into boiling water, cook
for 5 minutes and remove. Heat up wok with vegetable oil. Stir fry
ginger for 3 minutes or until fragrant. Put in cabbage and continue
stir fry. Pour in 3 tablespoons of water, salt and the cooked dace
balls. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Thicken with sauce. Ready to
serve.
Cooking Tips:
This is nutritious and high in fiber dish. The Chinese flowing
cabbage could be replaced with those other vegetable like cabbage,
celery or broccoli.
